Judy Bruce receives Arts Council of the North Valley “Imagine Award”

Judy Bruce of Cave Creek received the Imagine Award at the Arts Council of the North Valley (ACNV) fifth annual meeting on October 28, 2010 at the Anthem Art Gallery located in the Caepe School.

“The Imagine Award is given each year to an individual who has provided support, leadership and vision, has helped advance the arts in the north valley and has embraced the values on which the ACNV was founded,” said Doug Clark, ACNV president. “Judy Bruce has done all of that and more.”

Bruce has spent her life as an artist, educator and has advanced the arts in the north valley community. Since her move to Cave Creek in 2001, Bruce has initiated programs focused on making art available to today‟s youth.

"Judy Bruce has been instrumental in advancing interest, participation and support for the arts in the Cave Creek area. As an artist and as an ambassador for the arts, Judy has been instrumental in effecting the mission of the Arts Council of the North Valley. I enthusiastically support granting her the Imagine Award," said Usama Abujbarah, Cave Creek Town Manager.
